Tafsir &Tadabbur

Deepen Your Connection with the Qur’an

Move beyond recitation and discover how to truly understand and feel the Qur’an’s guidance in your life.

  • Many of us read the Qur’an, but without reflection, its lessons remain distant, like unopened treasures.
  • This course teaches tadabbur (deep contemplation) through interactive discussions, journaling, and guided questions, helping you unlock the Qur’an’s transformative wisdom.
  • Each session combines group reflection, activities, and practical exercises to make the Qur’an personally meaningful.
  • After a year, walk away with a living relationship with the Qur’an. This is where its verses speak directly to your heart and daily struggles.

What Our Students Say

Hear from those who have studied Radiance of Faith and gained a foundational grounding in Islamic Studies.

"The Tadabbur session with Sister Isma was my first experience. When she led the class on the story of Prophet Nuh (AS), I could really relate to it, especially as a parent of teenagers and with my nieces. It was the first time I saw the surah connected to everyday life."

" I took part in the tafseer of Surah Yasin course in August 2024. Ustadha Isma struck just the right balance in her teaching. Her style is engaging and interactive, giving us space to discuss and reflect, while gently guiding us through the surah. She explained the subtle linguistic beauty of the Qur'an with such clarity. As a former English student, I loved exploring the root meanings together – it opened new ways to think about the surah that I would not have been aware of otherwise. Before this course, I had not really connected with Surah Yasin, despite it being the ‘heart of the Qur'an’. It is a surah that appears at formative periods of life, especially during bereavements. What I learned in class has stayed with me – especially during times of loss or when reading it to elderly family members – and given me a new depth of understanding.."

"I really enjoyed delving into Surah Yasin. The time and length of the course were good and manageable. The tutor explained things very well and encouraged interaction. It was great to hear other people’s understanding and perspectives. I would love another course like this on a different surah.”
